The Impeachment Chronicles: Kucinich Introduces Articles of Impeachment Against Cheney

When Kucinich was interviewed by Wolf Blitzer of CNN he was asked whether this step might be a mistake since "we are at war," his response was directly on point. Kucinich told Blitzer that we went to war based on a series of lies. These lies were repeatedly propagated by Cheney and Bush.

They must be repealed, and precautions taken that they may never be reinstituted. Not just because the Republicans -- or some other party that arises from the splintered shards of the GOP -- might regain office, but because these are too dangerous to remain even in our hands, as virtuous as we might remain.)
And yet, I am arguing that there is a good argument to be made that not only would impeachment be a mistake, it might not be justified, legally.
