The Pentagon wants Congress to give them some cash to build Weapons of Mass Science Fiction.

I wasn't laughing.

My son was seated next to me, reading a Star Wars book.  I looked over at him and he gave me a look, as if to say, "Leave it alone, dad."  He's only seven, but he knew the look on my face.  And somehow, I think he recognized the sound of a half-truth just as easily as I did.
