Joe Wilson in the Situation Room today Email Print

FYI: Joe Wilson will be on Wolf's show today in the Situation Room.

I think it may be partly a follow-up to 60 minutes' show last night.

Very forceful, calm, resolute and convincing especially regarding the fact that his wife did have a covert status.

Wolf is such a jerk; however, his stupid and infuriating questions allowed Amb. Wilson to clearly answer every Republican talking point.

If only Wolf would pursue Republicans as viciously as he pursued Wilson.  The Republicans would be shown to be the liars that they are and have been.

I think it is the job of journalists to ask the tough questions so I believe it was good for Wilson and for our side.  However, it infuriates me that the wingnuts are allowed to lie when there is video showing they are lying and all of the softball questions about things that are vitally important to our country.

would never let go of the Vanity Fair photo question.

Why did he pound on that so hard?  It was inane.

Being semi-retired I watch C-SPAN sometimes and yesterday (10/31/05) Joe Wilson's speech at the NPC luncheon was broadcast.

Once again the complete, utter incompetence of the Bush White House was demonstrated. The Office of the Vice President requested the CIA follow up on information that Iraq was buying yellowcake from Niger, but what they did not do, apparently was tell the CIA what the answer should be. Now this is an administration that "makes it's own reality", but in this case they failed to insure their reality was reinforced. As it turns out, the CIA sent the man who is probably the single most qualified person in the world to investigate this question. When you are creating reality, the last thing you want is someone grounded in the reality that is providing feedback for the reality you are creating.

Just another instance of incompetence trumping stupidity in the Bush Administration. A competent administration would have sent Doug Feith to investigate.

I missed it, but I'll look for the tape and the re-play.

Time someone spoke the truth and was HEARD.
