The new, state-by-state Survey USA Bush approval rating poll numbers are in and it makes for this interesting map.

My question is what are the people in Utah, Wyoming, Mississippi and Idaho thinking? The approval numbers have actually GONE UP in those states since the 2004 election. 20+ percent in Utah and Idaho. What's in the water out there?

It's holy water out there (none / 0)
All that matters is Christianity, I assume, and forcing its agenda on the whole nation. The more oppressive and pushy the GOP gets with its Jesus talk, the more approval it's going to get in those wacko states. At least that's my take.

Bush knows his base (none / 0)
In late August when Cindy Sheehan camped out near his ranch Bush went to one of the few places he would be well received: Idaho.
