"Syriana" has opened in select Los Angeles and New York theaters today, and expands nationwide on December 9th... against "The Chronicles of Narnia."

See 'em both them!

And see this site for other progressive films that had to be made outside of the Hollywood studio system, because Hollywood does not have a liberal agenda.

from seeing Syriana tonight. A little too tired to write too much about it.

It's pretty dense, and either I missed some of it, or I need to see it again. In fact, I'm certain I need to see it again, because there are a few loose ends I didn't get.

Lots of great locations, though. And Clooney's taken the understatement to new levels here.
