The Sun Starts Coming Out Tomorrow Email Print

Tomorrow is another step toward November 2006.  Just as the Special Election in Ohio's 2nd was a slice of hope, tomorrow will be a day that could become the origin of a tidal wave.
There are several races across the nation that will serve as indicators to the public sentiment in a way that no poll or political column can.
Think of America as the whole, not just as everywhere other than your neighborhood.  Just because there may not be an election in your particular neighborhood, what happens tomorrow in elections will impact you.
This is to ask that you do your part.  Don't ask, what can I do?  Ask, what will I do.

Don't just be a talker, be a doer.   Let's take our Country back, and let's start tomorrow.

...except in Ohio.  WTF is with the Ohio voters?

The Albany Project. The best damned blog about New York State politics.

Border County. And I have Cincinnati Media.  There was alot of confusion in the wording of the propostions and there was a one-sided mass adversting campaign, on voting NO.  That is all I saw, vote NO, but not why, just vote No, and it looks like most did.  There was no direct Republican Democrat connection for the voters as to the choices.  So this is really not a defeat for Dems as much as it shows the extent the Repubs go to get their way.  At least that is my take on it from the people I have talked to.  My first response when I heard the results were similar to yours NYBri, but that is what I have learned since last night.  I hope that is what happened, otherwise, I worry about the state to the East!

Which is a good start in the bluest of states. He may be doing more damage inadvertently to the CA GOP than Democrats could dare to do in their wildest dreams.

People here are REALLY pissed about the cost of this special election -- $50 million -- when the state's in such dire financial straits anyway and his propositions all went down. Aren't we glad we had this election instead of spending it on silly things like ... oh ... schools and roads and infrastructure?

Bleh.

My favorite fall out so far, has been J.D. Hayworth, a Rep from Arizona and a major Bush supporter, saying on Imus this morning, that he didn't want Bush campaigning for him! That is big.

That was quite sweet. Also check out the AP story by Ron Fournier in which Bush is called "political toxin for Republicans."

Heh.

Couldn't happen to a nicer fella.
