DEAL WITH THE DEVIL

It's been a while since I've heard any updates on this story, but the State of Israel should not give an inch in any negotiations with the Hezbollah terrorists. It should not release any Arab criminals in exchange for its own three captured soldiers, despite domestic pressure from within Israel to do so.
These captured, Israeli Soldiers may have to be written off, if necessary, as casualties in the great ongoing war. If these Israeli heroes are anything like American soldiers, they will be willing to make this sacrifice for the good of the world. Conventional wisdom says that bargaining with hostage takers only encourages them to take more and more hostages. Then you're dug into a deep hole.
The U.S. leader does not cave in to domestic pressure from various fronts when he knows the correct course, and neither should the Israeli government. They are supposed to be the experts on security against terror.
This proposed prisoner exchange would be like making a "deal with the devil."
UN Chief Koffi Annan, who is mediating the negotiations for this deal, doesn't seem to realize that when you upset the apple cart for God's chosen nation (Israel), you are under a biblical curse.
Don't take terms from terrorists. Hezbollah be damned!
