Political Cortex: Brain Food for the Body Politic

For some reason, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice thought that it would be a good idea to set up diplomatic outposts manned by one person around the world to help US diplomacy. The problem is, these single person kiosks were to be placed in HOT SPOTS where anti-American sentiment runs deep.
This only seems like a wide-open invitation for hostage takers or worse to do their dirty work. Why would you set a defenseless person in the middle of a danger zone to fend for himself? This is another example of Bush Administration foolishness. Apparently, the plans are on hold due to security concerns, which really does come as no surprise.
