GOP R.I.P 11/07/2006

And to those people, I say take a deep look inside. You know I'm right. Sure, your fear of loss will disallow you from admitting it -- perhaps even to yourself, but you know deep down inside that the GOP has seen its final days.
You know.
It's time to let the anachronistic pile of dung that is neoconservatism die a rapid but excruciatingly painful death.
It's time to abolish the anti-American, slime-sucking, low-balling, shrill-shrieking troglodytes from making critical life and death decisions for our families.
Yes, it's time to say riddance (and not even 'good' riddance) to the Republican Party.
You know the only thing that matters now is turnout, and if you think that's going to favor the Republicans, think again.
In a cycle like this, Rove's 72 hour plan will be a TOTAL WASHOUT..
The fact is that Democrats are FIRED UP!!!
While conservatives are totally demoralized.
Let's take a look...
Xenophobes? Double Ha! All they know is that we're nation building at a pace completely antithetic to Bush's year-2000 promises. And the outlook only promises more of the same. They heard Bush's response when asked the other day about the possibility of having 'permanent U.S. bases' in Iraq, He refused to rule it out.
Imagine -- with Republican rule, we could be in IRAQ FOREVER!!!
And the evangelicals? Triple HA! First Mark Foley, now Ted Haggard? And this is not just about 'dreaded' homosexuality. This is about pedophilia, prostitution, and drugs. It's about brazen hypocrisy and dishonesty. It's about humiliation, and betrayal. And it is all very, VERY public. Oh, to be a congregant in Haggard's New Life Church!
And that leads directly to the incalculable array of Republican scandals -- so many that they can't even be uttered in a single breath -- bet that the 'scandal fatigue' will shine brightly tomorrow as multiple facets of the GOP base find themselves too fatigued to make it to the polls.
Sure the red-meat wingnuts will always make it to the polls, but even some of them might be too disgusted when they start hearing The Conservative call for the GOP's ouster, or the Newspapers of the Armed Forces calling for Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld's resignation, or an insiders account of how the administration has constantly used, abused, and even mocked religious conservatives. And let's not forget the public regrets of Neo Icons, George Will and Richard Perle.
So who's going to turn out tomorrow?
Will it be the energized Democrats or the agonized Republicans?
Will it be the Democrats who are enjoying the finest crop of candidates in decades or the Republicans who are suffering the most scandalous crop of candidates in decades?
The question for tomorrow is not, "Will the Democrats take the House?"
The question is not, "Can the Democrats take most of the 'Lean Dem' and perhaps a couple of the 'Toss-up' races?"
The question is, "After sweeping ALL the 'Lean Dem' and ALL of the 'Toss-up' races, how far will Democrats drill into the 'Lean Republican' races and how many surprise victories will the Democrats take from the 'safe' Republicans?"
That is the question we must ponder, realizing that this time around it is the Republican turnout that is being grossly overestimated by the pollsters.
On November 7th, 2006 the Republican Party will be annihilated by an unambiguous electoral incineration. And from the ashes will rise the true party of America -- one that reflects the values of America's founders, one that respects the Constitution and our nation's other founding documents and principles -- a newly energized party of progressives seeking the ideals of America and of humanity -- peace, prosperity, freedom and justice for all.
So don't shed a tear for the Republican Party. We are better for having lost them.
On Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, the Republican ring of power will be reclaimed by the internal fires of an anachronistic, hateful, self-righteous, and arrogant Neoconservative Hell.
Finally twelfth century despair will be replaced with 21st century hope.
