- The Renaissance caused World War II and the Bolshevik Revolution.
- The fact that pregnancy is not caused by eating a cupcake proves that gay couples shouldn't raise children.
- Too much soy will turn young boys into homosexuals and cause young girls to reach puberty early.
- The paper money system is a liberal plot.
- Merriam-Webster dictionaries have a definite liberal bent, and children who use them are more likely to vote Democratic as adults.

Solutions:
Of the five theses, only #5 (on the evils of Merriam-Webster) is made up. That being said, it's similar to statements made by "family values" groups in the past on the inclusion of words like "homosexual" in certain dictionaries. (Sad that I couldn't even fully fictionalize that one, huh?)
