Can't Those Republicans Keep Bush in the White House?

Also it took a busload of radical Republicans darting down to Miami, Florida, where they pounded on the doors in Miami, where a voter recount was being conducted, to crown King George. His current conduct would prompt one to believe that Bush isn't a mere president, but a King who can do no wrong!
Acquiring office this way has not brought George Bush any luck. There is an old saying, "It isn't what you have that counts, but how you acquired what you have!" This timeworn cliché doesn't bode well for Bush.
The second time around, this unpopular President benefited from strange events to allow himself another four years of White House residence. The Exit Polls before the 2004 election showed that Kerry held a 3 percent margin. For Bush to win by that same margin would mean that the Exit Polls were off by 6 percent, which has never happened in the entire history of presidential election day exit polling.
Before Bush's total track record is recorded history, he might wish he had never obtained White House residency. The White House is a glass house that everyone can see through. And what has happened to the U.S.A. ever since George Bush set foot in the White House is a terrible track record that no Republican, Democratic or American citizen can be proud of.
At last Americans have begun awakening to this tragic reality. We've got a big time loser chasing around the world in Air Force One, leaving a tragic tale of riots and death.
The trip to India, where he welcomed the nation to the Nuclear Club and praised outsourcing American jobs there, was outrageous. This is Bush's first love, big business. Big business' primary concern is profits, and with the average wage in India $2 a day, dream profits are there for the asking.
If any American objects, Bush and his big business buddies will hurl the accusation they are "Protectionists". They should instead be for "free trade". This translates to ripping off American labor.
Bush's trip to India was greeted in Pakistan with bombs, tragically killing an American Ambassador. Less than a week after Bush's Air Force One India jaunt, newspaper headlines read, "BLASTS IN INDIA KILL AT LEAST 20". Could Bush's trips have instigated a trail of terror in both India and Pakistan?
Peter Wallsten and Paul Watson, Los Angeles Times Washington Bureau writers, had this to say about Bush's goodwill trip to India: "TRIP OFFERS BUSH A BREAK FROM TROUBLES BACK HOME". Wallsten and Watson wrote, "President Bush does not typically find relief in travel overseas. But after weeks of unpleasant distractions and sagging approval ratings at home, Bush headed to a rare place where he and the United States remains popular, India."
Obviously Wallsten and Watson are living in a world of fantasy, as accounts of Bush's trips to India and Pakistan readily attest.
George Bush fantasizes he is a foreign affairs expert, bringing peace, democracy and freedom wherever he flies. As he and Laura land in Air Force One in India the pilots wisely turn off the landing lights of the presidential plane as an important safety precaution.
This grim reality stands out in start contrast to the reception President Kennedy received when he and first lady Jacqueline Kennedy flew into France and Mexico City. Who can forget the speech Kennedy gave at West Berlin's City Hall, not far from the Berlin Wall, which did ultimately come down. Freedom and democracy did ultimately come to Berlin.
During this Republican Administration, when tactless Donald Rumsfeld lashed out against Germany and France for not going along with the phony "weapons of mass destruction" hysteria the Administration promoted through a fear campaign based on lies and forged documents, the Germans and French wisely saw through this pathetic charade.
Today when American service personnel are wounded they are flown first to Germany, where doctors and hospitals can care for the victims of the Iraq War. British lapdog Blair carried fear propaganda to new heights with his "45 minutes from Britain" missile announcement, not to be outdone by the well orchestrated U.S. fear campaign.
Days after George Bush's so-called goodwill trip to India, the Washington Post March 8, 2006 newspaper story stated, "Bombs exploded in a crowded Hindu temple and at a railway station in the holy city of Varanasi on Tuesday, killing at least 20 people and raising fears of retaliatory violence against Indians minority Muslim population." This tragic news story's location line was New Delhi, India.
The article goes on to reveal, "The attacks which injured at least 62 people came only days after Hindus and Muslims fought in the streets of Lucknow during President Bush's visit to India."
It is no "coincidence" that three attacks followed Bush's visit. The terribly tarnished image of George Bush acting as President of the U.S.A. has seriously damaged foreign relations.
When Congress has the wisdom and courage to stand up against George Bush and his sometimes-lawless rule, they are displaying the strengths and power the Constitution of the United States granted them. This is not a monarchy where the King can do no wrong.
This is the U.S.A.! When Bush vowed he would veto any congressional action that did not permit him to place United States Homeland Security in the hands of a United Arab Emirates-based corporation, we know it is time to defy what Bush is up to at long last.
Instead of going back to the White House after the India-Pakistan jaunt last week, Bush boarded Air Force One, heading for New Orleans. When he had the chance to display compassion and wisdom as Hurricane Katrina lashed against New Orleans, Bush boarded Air Force One, almost a daily routine now, waving and smiling for the media.
Now the question must be asked: Why on earth is Bush going to New Orleans? The Mardi Gras is over! Some $900 million have been spent on mobile homes that are sinking in the mud.
Remember when psychologists analyzed Richard Nixon near the end of his White House stint? Such energy could be helpfully brought to bear in evaluating Bush in crisis situations.
Could those nearly 40 years of heavy drinking have caused some of the bad judgment in Bush's decision-making? This is a question that needs to be answered and the sooner the better.
