The Vanishing American Lifestyle Email Print

Bush's much heralded trade deal with India begs a significant question.  Was Bush, in effect, trading India joining the Nuclear Club so American businessmen can outsource more jobs to India?  Pakistan wasn't overjoyed over Bush's visit.  It was greeted with the tragic death of an American Ambassador.  Riots erupted everywhere Bush went.

With the unpopularity of Bush's presidency he must be operating under the illusion that he is welcome anywhere.  Bush chases around the world almost as if he was on a perpetual Air Force One continuous trip.  Bush seems to be an attachment of Air Force One.

No wonder he claims he was in the dark about the Dubai U.S. port outsourcing to the Saudi-based company.  Trusting U.S. Homeland Security to the Saudis begs the question:  Don't you trust American workers, Mr. Bush?

Bush did a little fancy footwork, explaining how wonderful outsourcing jobs away from American workers could be.  Bush cracked what amounts to a joke, saying "Education eases outsourcing!"  Considering what a mediocre student Bush's college career revealed, maybe his position as President should be outsourced as fast as you can say Impeach George Bush!

To claim to be a compassionate conservative is the height of hypocrisy.  Is it conservative to drive the U.S. into a debt hole deeper than any other President?  The Republican robots apparently do not give a single thought to the future of the U.S.A.  Republicans approve almost every cockamamie idea Bush dreams up.

If Bush can bungle international affairs such as conducting a horrifying war on a tissue of lies while he is sober, dare you imagine what his administration would be like if he hadn't stopped drinking?  The question must be asked:  Did Bush's prior drinking contribute to his poor judgment on decision-making?

But for the Republican robot Congress to approve Supreme Court positions only to sycophants who think exactly as Bush does plunges us into a nation functioning with no real opposition views.

The rant over a woman having the right to use freedom of choice over her own body when it comes to an unwanted pregnancy is being challenged as fast as these "know it all" do-gooders of the radical religious right can dash "freedom" on the rocks of their warped concept of what God Almighty wants.

Haven't we been exposed to enough of this pseudo-hypocritical religious nonsense with our President having the temerity to tell us he didn't seek counsel with the Elder Bush, he father, but his "other Father" meaning God?  Did God counsel Bush to dash into Iraq?

Did God tell Bush to shift Social Security from a government trust fund that is not supposed to be touched, to trust Wall Street?  Did God tell Bush to plunge the U.S.A. into a staggering debt that has edged the nation to near bankruptcy with future generations enslaved to pay it off?

All the while Republicans roar their approval at every word from their great leader!  Enough!

Having plunged Iraq into a near civil war, having enslaved our future generations with vast debt, it is time to drive these corrupt characters out of power!  Impeach Bush!  Send a letter to everyone you know.  Tell them you want jobs to stay in the U.S.A.

Many Indians work for $2 a day.  That is exactly why big business wants to outsource!  They aren't concerned primarily with raising the lifestyle in India or anywhere else.  Their primary goal is profits at any cost.  Is it patriotic to send our jobs away while our government leaders cheer outsourcing?

Is their patriotism based primarily upon profits big business makes to let their stocks skyrocket?  It was slave labor that motivated slave masters.  Slave masters had some nice mansions with white pillars gracing their lifestyles.

It cost the U.S. a Civil War!  Have we exported a Civil War to Iraq?  Are we mortgaging the future of the U.S.A. to corrupt, inefficient, unethical characters, accepting lobbyists' bribes and calling it freedom?

The best response to Bush's globalization dream (like his dream of freedom and democracy for Iraq and all the Middle East) is to protect the American worker, let American patriots protect our ports.  Bust this tarnished government!  Don't listen to sex harasser Bill O'Reilly rant, or ex-drug addict, or at least we hope ex, Rush Limbaugh carry on!

They are dangerous voices that have displayed their character.  Listen to your conscience!  Freedom and democracy can return to the U.S. if we chase those inept governmental leaders out of office at the next election.  Let them pay the price for the mess they've generated.  Isn't it about time?

Under this wonderful Republican Administration here are some headlines you should consider: Kraft cuts 8,000 jobs at as many as 20 plants.  Here's another:  Ford Motor Company, according to reliable estimate, has burned through $4 billion in cash in just over a year.  And another:  General Motors is cutting around 50,000 jobs.  In the words of Al Jolson, "You ain't seen nothin' yet!"

When the real estate bubble bursts, the bubble generated by sharp interest rate cuts by Greenspan and gang, you will see the ultimate benefit of inflating real estate.

You might recall the State of the Union Message where Republicans gave Bush a standing ovation.  There's nothing like saluting abject failure.  After all, our senators and congressmen will retire with hefty pensions.  Some will become big shots with big business as high-powered lobbyists.

No problem for them.  Hopefully American voters will think twice about whom they are voting for.

I agree with your suggestion on letters.  I've been trying for several years to get people to write letters on a regular basis and I have seen some regular letter writers posting to forums about their letter writing.

I suggest a post card campaign to members of Congress to avoid the delay while they check for anthrax, etc.
