My dream chat with Rummy

They need the military to accomplish their missions to form the world into their eyes and minds way of looking at it. Which is my firm belief that it as twisted of some of their other authorized programs from the days gone by.
Military forces are supposed to be used to deter the need for combat, they should be used as a last resort, not as the first choice. If you send men and women into harm's way, then you owe their families the decency of signing the condolence letters by hand and not a machine. And the wounded and injured veterans deserve all their benefits, not be told they are to expensive and a detriment to America's ability to fight future conflicts. If you can't afford the cost of a war, don't throw one. Injured and dead veterans have costs attached to them, besides emotional costs to the family.
Press briefing at DOD:
Mr Secretary, How do you feel about the fact that DOD will not release the names and addresses of the 7120 men that were used in a Cold War test program using chemical wepaons and drugs such as LSD and PCP on enlisted Army soldiers during your first tenure as Secretary of Defense in 1975?
Rummy's response: Errrr, huh, screw them they volunteered for it, we only used volunteers.
Mr Secretary: The Army Inspector General stated in their report that the experiments were in violation of the Nuremberg Codes of 1947 and that the recruiting teams lied to the men about the danger of the tests, after 31 years don't they deserve medical treatment and compensation?
Rummy" Heck they haven't done the honorable thing and died yet? We can ignore the widows longer if they will just cooperate and drop dead.
Mr Secretary: Don't you think it is just a little bit hypocritical to be asking for the Iraqi's to be trying Saddam for using chemical weapons on the Kurds, since you and Vice President Cheney authorized the use of chemical weapons and drugs on America's enlisted men?
Rummy: Heck No, we had to win the Cold War, and we did, look at the Berlin Wall it's gone isn't it? So we have a few dead bodies and disabled veterans, we won so whats the problem?
Dr Chuey since you deal with the costs of retirees and veterans, is the real reason for ignoring these men or their widows is the money?
Dr Chuey: Retiress and wounded and injured veterans are sucking all the money now and they will be the cause America can't have radon bombs, and invisible space warfare platforms, they are taking way to much of DOD's resources.
Dr Chuey, exactly how do injured veterans affect DOD's budget, I thought the Veteran Affairs budget pays for them?
Dr Chuey: You have to see the big picture, Capitol Hill only has so much money and we get as much as Social Security and Medicare combined for the purpose of defending America. And the more disabled veterans and retirees we have to take care of the money has to come from somewhere, since we can't make Social Security stop paying old people and all those old people need Medicare the only place Congress has to get money to fund the Veteran Affairs Admninistration is cut the defense budget, and dammit toys are more important than sick, lame and lazy veterans. We have to justify the BullChit we do here.
Mr Secretary one last question? Do you ever worry about being prosecuted for the crimes against humanity you have authorized, the chemical wepaons and drug tests, the torture at Abu Graib, (we hear you had a live web cam and directed it and General Miller will testify next week about it) the torture at Gitmo, and all the other miserable things you approve of?
Rummy: Are you crazy, W will pardon me, I'm old who cares, I'm rich and I am moving to Cypress and be neighbors with Mr Savant, they can't get him, so I should be safe there, and Tricky Dick 2 is getting the house next to mine, so I can still tell him what to do. Go F yourself.
Mr Secretary, may you make a trip to Bagdad and meet an IED upclose.
In my dreams..................... ...
