Political Cortex: Brain Food for the Body Politic

Now the truth about the giant scale fraud that generated the Iraq War is known.  The Iraq War has left the U.S. economy is shambles, bordering on bankruptcy with a staggering national debt, paying billions in interest.

What about Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rice, Wolfowitz and Perle's accountability?  Isn't there an overdue accountability bill that should be paid in the form of a war crimes trial at The Hague?

Instead they're all congratulating themselves on bringing freedom and democracy to Iraq!  Rumsfeld and Rice chased over to Iraq to take bows this week.   Bush is chasing around the U.S.A., fantasizing in his speeches anywhere dupes will still listen, all in hopes that his sagging popularity ratings can be revived.  

The dead in Iraq, the dead U.S. service personnel, the injured - all of this hell as the infrastructure of Iraq is demolished.  Instead of generating peace, what the U.S. has done in Iraq makes every American vulnerable to payback time.

Imagine for one moment what the U.S. would do if some nation had bombed the hell out of Mexico, killing over 100,000 Mexicans.  Would the U.S. stand by and say, "My, my - that isn't nice!"

Nations don't protect themselves that way.  The U.S. supplied Saddam Hussein with weapons to conduct war against Iran for years.  As if that didn't generate enough hate, Bush launched war against Iraq after proof was presented to him that Iraq was no threat.  That conduct is what you label a genuine warmonger!  

The world watched in horror and awe as Bush mounted a U.S. carrier near San Diego to dramatically declare, "The war is over!" following extensive shock and awe attacks in Iraq.  No, Mr. Bush, it was only beginning, despite what you and your puppet masters Karl Rove and Dick Cheney believed.

Now North Korea has gone full speed ahead with its nuclear ambitions.  Iran, recognizing what the preventive war doctrine in the U.S. had done in the way of killing their neighbors, decided it was time to defend their nation.

Surprise, you U.S. foreign policy experts!  Iran wanted to defend itself against the Pentagon's preventive war strategies, aided and abetted by a media propagandizing every day to justify what Bush and his cronies had done.

An April 27, 2006 report from Paris published in the Seattle Times indicates, "Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned Wednesday that his country would strike U.S. targets around the world if it is attacked over its refusal to curb its nuclear program.  If the U.S ventured into any aggression on Iran, Iran will retaliate by damaging U.S. interests worldwide twice as much as the U.S. may inflict on Iran."

Well, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, Rice - haven't your brilliant moves put the U.S. in a vulnerable position?  Were you so ignorant that you fantasized that your unnecessary preventive war in Iraq would make every nation recoil in a fear syndrome?  

Didn't it ever dawn on you that you would inspire and invigorate every nation to protect itself from the likes of you and your war machine?  Maybe your right wing religious fanatics in the U.S. will get Armageddon before they planned on it.
