Peter King (NY-03) is an Asshole! (Episode 3) 
Fortunately, Peter King appears to be the gift that keeps on giving (not to his constituents on Long Island, but to us local bloggers!). The latest example of King's complete assholedness comes from just yesterday:
Republican Peter King. . . [has] no people of color working in [his] Capitol Hill offices.[snip]
King said race and ethnicity aren't a factor in his hiring decisions, but that, as a conservative Republican, diversifying his staff "would probably make me look good to show that I have someone on staff that doesn't fit the stereotype."
Ummmm, Mr. King, are you aware that you said that. . . .OUT LOUD?
Gee, hire people of color so that you could "look good." You are exactly the kind of person who should be a F**KING member of F**KING Congress!!! Yeaaaaarrrrgh!!!
All right -- one thing I am realizing in this series. Yes, it is true that Peter King is an asshole. But he is also a buffoon! A complete buffoon!! So I am seriously thinking of changing the title of this series from "Peter King is an Asshole" to "Peter King is a Buffoon." What do you think?
