The Fear Not article inspired many people to ask about purchasing bumper stickers, T-shirts, etc.

Thanks to the suggestions and help of those who read the article, a version of the bumper sticker is now available at Cafe Press.

Get out there and spread the word that Democrats won't buy into the Republican's world of fear.

good idea, but possible negative subtext (none / 0)
I think it has a fatal flaw of putting the stop color of red and the big word NOT right above Democrat. A quick glance will register the "not" and the "democrat." I'm not trying to rain on a parade. I honestly think it sends a conflicting message on a visceral level, which is where the best messages take place.

if you read it and think it through, it's very clever. but again, i'm talking about a quick look, a non-conscious glance, because how many bumper stickers do i study in a day? i sort of tune them out.

just my thoughts. clearly, as you say above, some see it as a good idea.

No, the note saying it was okay never made it back to my mailbox.  I was afriad to go ahead with your design without your permission, but your design was clearly better.
