Can Americans Face Reality Regarding the Iraq War? Email Print

If Alan Greenspan was telling the truth about the Iraq War, that the Iraq War was all about oil, what might that mean?

It could mean that the Iraq War was putting men into a war not primarily to dispose of dictator Saddam, not to protect our nation from threat of a nuclear war, as was suggested, but to gain access to Iraq's oil.

The dictator was found and disposed of quickly so all the nations dealing with Saddam Hussein, including the U.S.A., could be kept secret.

Wasn't the U.S. supplying Saddam with weapons that killed Iranians in the Iraq-Iran War?  Wasn't he supplied with the killer gas that murdered all those Kurds?

We won't find out from a "quickie" trial of Saddam Hussein, which supplied the war killing machine Saddam butchered with.

Of course, it is embarrassing to think that men who have been told are needed to save the U.S.A. from death and destruction if oil was in reality the real reason for launching the Iraq War in the first place.

If this fact could be proven those responsible would be tried at The Hague for war crimes.

General Sanchez is considering writing a book on his view of the reality of the Iraq War.  Sanchez starkly stated, "There has been a glaring and unfortunate display of incompetent strategic leadership within our national leaders."

That is putting it mildly, General Sanchez.

The primary criticism was focused on the Bush Administration explaining that it had not mobilized the total United States Government, not just the military to contribute to reconstructing and stabilizing Iraq.

In short, Sanchez blamed the State Department for the catastrophic failure, and insisted that the American public hold those who engineered the Iraq nightmare accountable.

Instead of admitting this catastrophic Iraq War failure, Bush and Dr. Condoleezza Rice chase around the world and give an endless array of press conferences, acting as if they had achieved great things when the reality is that they are colossal failures with the lowest approval ratings in American history.

They are losers big time.
