When and Where Will the Price by Paid for the Iraq War?

Altshul stated, "The entire country should rise up in disgust at the cowardly effort by the United States Bridge Federation to impose sanctions against players who expressed their political opinions at a tournament in Shanghai last month holding up a sign that read, `We did not vote for Bush!'"
Altshul's powerful rebuttal revealed how shameful certain U.S. citizens of the U.S. Bridge Federation have become on the crucial issue of freedom of expression.
Altshul laid it on the line:
Impeachment is the only answer considering what the George Bush reign of error, followed by terror, has wrought. The mere statement by some bridge players that they did not vote for Bush is tame indeed considering honestly what the bungling Bush Iraq War has done.
Why haven't the Republicans and Democrats impeached Bush long ago? Is a sex act in the White House and saying it never occurred worse than going to war in Iraq and the subsequent death, destruction and death that followed based on falsehoods claiming that the U.S. was under deadly threat?
How can men and women presiding over the government of the U.S.A. reconcile 600,000 to a million dead Iraqis, 3,800 U.S. service personnel dead, and 55,000 combatants and non-combatants wounded not demand immediate impeachment?
The eyes of the world are focused on this renegade administration run amok. It isn't enough that 2 ½ million Iraqis have fled to Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. Now there is constant talk about invading Iran.
After Bush approved of India joining the nuclear club, a bomb blast exploded on an Indian train. Was this a nuclear club welcoming event or a warning harbinger of worse to come?
With more lobbyists in Washington than congressional members chasing around buying votes for big business, you can't count on the integrity of Congress. Sadly they follow the money trail as it takes a million or more to run for Congress today.
The only way that the U.S. can regain credibility as a beacon of freedom, truth and integrity is to hold those responsible for the Iraq quagmire accountable. Of course this will be a painful process, but it is imperative for the United States to respect international law.
In the Alan Greenspan book Turbulent Times he states "oil" as the reason for the Iraq War. The oil distribution contract that the U.S. wants Iraq to sign is for foreign investors to have a long term lease on 63 of Iraq's 80 oil wells, leaving 17 under complete Iraq control. This has been written up in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times.
Just imagine how U.S. leadership would respond to such a one-sided contract if you can look honestly and objectively at a parallel situation. What if false claims were made that the U.S. was going to attack a specific nation, but all the claims proved to be lies and falsehoods?
Nevertheless, that nation nonetheless attacked the U.S. without a shred of proof that we were prepared to attack them.
Imagine 600,000 to a million U.S. citizens dead with 2 ½ million fleeing to other countries to save their lives as our infrastructure lay demolished.
Then after this destruction occurred we were compelled by this invading nation to give it 63 of our 80 biggest corporate assets on a long term lease, leaving only 17 for the U.S.A.
We would be outraged at such supreme arrogance. Having suffered such a horrifying death toll and outraged that our infrastructure had been demolished, the U.S. would, of course, go to the International Court at The Hague, demanding that those responsible for such horror be held accountable.
Is it asking too much for an international court at The Hague to determine if Bush, Cheney, Rice and other co-conspirators who helped launch the Iraq War respect the laws of civilized nations?
Unless we hold those responsible for the Iraq War accountable, there is the distinct possibility that this is only the beginning of what could lead to the end of civilization as we have known it in the U.S.A.
