The 9/11 Chronicles: Alex Jones Delineates False Flag Scenario Email Print

Alex Jones has done it again!

Jones has emerged as one of the stalwart linchpins of the 9/11 Truth Movement.  You remember Jones from the summer of 2004.  He was the persistent interviewer who showed up mike in hand during the huge demonstration in New York City the day before the Republican National Convention convened.

On that occasion Jones kept asking the same question with dogged persistence, "What about 9/11?"  Michael Moore walked away with an embarrassed smile, not wanting to talk about the unthinkable, namely that our own government has not been leveling with us about the greatest terrorist-style tragedy in U.S. history.

The usually mellow David Gergen became angry when questioned by Jones, accusing him of "ambush journalism" and stalking angrily away.

In "Terrorstorm" the Austin based documentary filmmaker has scored big by focusing on an aspect of 9/11 and assorted other allegedly terrorist led operations.  This concept of False Flag Actions is thoroughly explored on film in the same thorough manner that it has been in book form by Webster Tarpley in "Synthetic Terror."

A critical point that Jones explores concerning 9/11 is how, at the very time that an airliner (a point in dispute in 9/11 inquiry circles) was crashing into the Pentagon, war games were being conducted there.  A coincidence?

Jones reveals in "Terrorstorm" what he discovered when he flew to London and linked up with two of his British reporters concerning the July 7 bombings.  While Tony Blair quickly linked these activities to the Al Qaeda network, seeking to validate his close connection to George W. Bush's policies, Jones presents evidence-arousing doubt.

It happens that a test was being run concerning London Underground attacks that left the individual in charge of those activities aghast over the, well, coincidence of it all.

As Jones notes, the best way to insure non-response or late response to a tragedy is to run a simultaneous shadow operation.  Perpetrators secure a significant advantage in that those in charge are involved in a preventive exercise that demobilizes those forces from swift counter-reaction.

An historical analysis of the False Flag scenario is so compelling as to demolish the coincidence factor and remind one of Franklin Delano Roosevelt's wise belief that in politics nothing happens by chance and that if an event occurs it's because it was planned that way.

Jones explores the bombing of the U.S. battleship Lusitania and how it was used as a pretext for America entering World War One against alleged perpetrator Germany.

Then there was World War Two and Pearl Harbor and the Gulf of Tonkin Incident with Lyndon Johnson being handed carte blanche authority to act in Vietnam despite those cautioning voices in the wilderness, Senators Ernest Gruening and Wayne Morse, who were later proven so prophetic with their warning.

These roads of inquiry lead ultimately back to 9/11.  Bin Laden, the man operating out of the cave in Afghanistan, plotted and carried out the whole series of attacks along with some emissaries with which he kept in touch by cell phones.

They carried out the attacks while leaving all kinds of evidence behind, such as a letter explaining it all.  The leader Mohamed Atta was so fervent in his unswerving fealty to Allah and Islam that he was seen repeatedly drinking heavily at Florida strip clubs and basking in such non-Islamic activities as the enjoyment of lap dancing.

Then there was that bizarre fellow running that bizarre flight school in Venice, Florida, Rudi Dekkers.  He kept making those trips to Hamburg.  Meanwhile he had all kinds of money.  The question was, "Where did he obtain it?"

There was all that evidence pointing toward Saudi Arabia and proven links to the alleged perpetrators.  FBI terrorist authority John O'Neill kept nagging his superiors that Saudi terrorist links needed to be checked, but eventually he was demoted by being transferred from Washington to New York until he finally quit in helpless disgust, a prophet without listeners in his own ranks.

Then what happened after 9/11?  The bin Laden family was allowed to leave the United States en masse.  Then there was the bin Laden link to the Carlyle Group, the international corporation dealing in weapons sales.

Who is a major player on the Carlyle team?  The elder George Bush.  Not long after 9/11 the bin Laden link was severed under understandable embarrassment.

Alex Jones is very curious about that continuing link between the Bush and bin Laden families.  After all, who supplied money for George W. Bush to enter the oil business in Texas?  The bin Laden family, that's who.  Is all the coincidence?  Alex Jones doesn't think so.

As soon as John F. Kennedy was shot the report went out that one loner with alleged Soviet beliefs named Lee Harvey Oswald did it all by himself, killing a Dallas policeman shortly afterwards.

Now we have Atta and his crew ostensibly linked to bin Laden.  Look how fast they were reported as the perpetrators of 9/11 in concert with Osama bin Laden.  Case closed.  Isn't it amazing how quickly terrorists are unmasked and cases immediately closed?  Again, are we dealing with coincidences?

Alex Jones keeps bringing up these nagging questions.  He wants an independent investigation of 9/11 with all these persons of interest who were left out of the sanitized government-tolerated 9/11 Commission investigation and subsequent report.

The numbers continue to increase among those of us who, like Alex Jones, would also like to see an independent investigation of 9/11.

who are unfamiliar with Terrorstorm and Jones' work on "false flag" terrorism. Just two other quick mentions--

  •  It was on Jones's radio show that Charlie Sheen first expressed his belief that 9/11 was an an inside job.
  • Jones organized and put on the 9/11 Symposium that became the most watched show in C-Span history.

His web site is also meticulously updated every hour with news.

and also, to point out, Alex singled out Charlie as someone who had been buying his films and checking out his site for some time.  Hence, this made for a good opportunity when Charlie wanted to speak out.  I thought about including this in my article but decided to just concentrate on the great film and deal with Charlie and some other courageous people like him in another article.  Thanks for the comment.

On the folks you mention. In dark moments I fear that 9/11 will go the way of the JFK/RFK/MLK assassinations and the OK City bombing--succumbing to the resistance of Americans to recognizing the truth about their country. But like you I keep pushing and hoping (sounding like a Dusty Springfield song here) planning and dreaming.

One thing about media--they will follow the meme, the narrative of the day. And with big names you can set the narrative.

 Good luck.

for your kind words of support, which are gratefully appreciated.  Yes, we must doggedly pursue the truth amid every type of smokescreen hurled at us repetitiously,Peak David.

I intend to keep on fighting.  I appreciate your support and I hope you will keep reading the columns and commenting.

Ok, this is a nice article but there are a few errors.

  1. The Republican National Convention in New York was in the fall of 2004, not the summer.

  2. It was Michael Moore who walked away with an embarrassed smile not wanting to talk about the unthinkable, not Michael Jones.

  3. The false flag op of the sinking of the USS Maine resulted in the US being thrust into the Spanish-American War, not WWI. And the alleged perpetrator was Spain, not Germany.

I should also add that even though Tony Blair was quick to link the 7/7 bombings to the Al Qaeda network, the official British government inquiry into the bombings that was leaked to the press found that there was in fact no link to Al Qaeda.

Just as the official report by the Spanish government into the 3/11 bombings also found no link to Al Qaeda.

So when the bombs go off all we hear is Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda, then years later we find out that Al Qaeda didn't do it.

On second thought Alex jones was in NY right around Sept. 11, 2004 that would make it late summer. I was wrong on that.

The other two points are factual errors that need to be corrected.

for your comments, which I have read carefully.  The national convention season is considered the summer, but in 2004 the Republicans deliberately staged its conclave in New York City in an effort to capitalize on 9/11 and attempt to show America that it was on top of things and protecting us from further terrorist efforts.  As you later noted, this was borderline and could have been considered autumn as well as very late summer.

In the cases of the British and Spanish investigations, there were disparities between the official reports and what was being touted, which was the point I was raising.  I had enough details of each instance to provide material for several articles.  The point I raised was the same as Alex Jones -- the presentation coupled with the linking process.  Even if the results are broadcast, if the propagandists are in control their accounts will be repeated more often than will the accurate information in the form of official reports.  In this case the linking was the point being made by Jones that I then raised as well.  Look at how many voters according to Exit Polls from 2004 believed that there were Weapons of Mass Destruction and that there was a linkage between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda. It was no surprise that a large number of these voters stated that they got all or most of their "news" from Fox.

On the subject of Michael Moore walking away from Alex Jones, I made that change and thank you for calling my attention to it.  When one does an article, especially if that person wants to make a deadline, it becomes easier to not spot an item that is an obvious mistake.  I had just written Jones' name and it popped out again when I meant to write Moore instead.

Thanks also for the mention about the Maine and World War One.  Again, I had viewed a film that mentioned the Maine in its correct connection and also the Lusitania, which was what I should have written.  I know my history well enough to be aware of the difference.  In fact, I began my journalism career working under the son of the man who tragically was the major journalistic trumpeter in bringing the Spanish-American War into existence, William Randolph Hearst.  I began working in the Hearst organization not in news but in sports, I shall point out.  I trumpeted no wars, except in sports competition, if one prefers to use a figure of speech in such a context.

I catch things I need to change quite often when I go over my articles after a little time has set in; this teaches me that I need to step back and read them over again after a little time has set in to see if perhaps in my anxiety to get something out when I feel it is timely, or when it is my turn to do my articles, I have not made some kind of slip, as I did in the two instances that you mentioned.
