Do We Really Need the Illegal Immigration Stampede? Email Print

Not long ago it was revealed that for over thirty years, in both New York City and Los Angeles, more than a million people were living on welfare.

Realizing that the U.S.A. provided funding for the welfare assisted poor with food stamps, housing, Medicaid and free education for all children has caused an immigration (legal and illegal) stampede to the U.S.A.

The population of the U.S.A. increased by 100 million people in the past 40 years.  The assorted freebies granted to immigrants have drawn them like magnets to reap the benefits of the assisted U.S.A. lifestyle.

Years ago when immigrants came to the U.S.A., waiting to come legally, all these gratuities were simply unavailable.  Years ago immigrants for the most part learned the English language.

These earlier immigrants did not ask for their native languages to be placed on election ballots and demand that these languages be taught in American schools, where English has been the common accepted language since the U.S.A. began.

Recently, following a horrifying fire in a Bronx New York apartment building, it was discovered that West African illegal immigrants were crowded into a small apartment with a defective heater.

Tragically 8 children perished.  The father survived.  He explained that he had two wives.  He insisted that his conduct did not constitute bigamy but stemmed from a religious belief that his religion condoned.

People who have wasted years to come to the U.S.A. are being discriminated against for following the rules of legal immigration, which apparently have gone out of fashion when big business couldn't obtain slave labor anymore, they only had to wait to figure out how to achieve great wealth.

One method is outsourcing to cheap labor nations.  The other is to hire illegal aliens at starvation wages, with the threat of exposing their status to keep them in line out of fear of being deported.

When big business, small business and families who have hired illegal aliens are forced to be held responsible for their cheap labor exploitation, we will know that the U.S. government is serious about stopping this scam operation that rips off U.S. taxpayers.

I thought this was a left-wing site, not a place to read the rantings of Michelle Malkin.

Iraq War News and Comment

rather than coming up with a label more befitting of the "analysis" of Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly rather than progressive analysis.

My commentary was focused on the execesses of big business and how the corporate world has manipulated illegal immigration to its advantage, which is why George W. Bush is currently advocating what he calls "reform."

To take this position is a far cry from Malkin, who once suggested that John Kerry might have acquired his medals by shooting himself.  Malkin is not taking on corporate guile and opportunism inserted into the immigration debate while I have.

I have seen the harm of what corporate opportunists and their lackies have done while I lived in California with three Republican governors, Reagan, Deukmijian and Wilson instituting what amounted to involuntary servitude programs for illegal aliens on behalf of the state's wealthy farmers, who threw large amounts of money into their careers.  In the case of Reagan it helped him ultimately achieve the presidency.

Unions, a steadfast means of support for Democratic candidates through the years, have for years sought forms of immigration control, along with protections in the realm of trade, to prevent the kind of tragic anarchy that currently reigns.

I also mentioned how employers, such as in Southern California's garment industry, intimidate illegal alients to work at low level paying jobs by threatening to expose them and have them sent back to Mexico if they do not accept their impossible conditions.

For ruthless corporate opportunists illegal immigration and outsourcing have been means to tremendous riches while the taxpayers are forced to pay for health care and hospital visits while they employee these individuals at scandalously low wage levels.

These are the points I address and they are hardly rants or in any way similar to the right wing paranoia advanced by Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh or Faux News.

Many honest people are forming groups in their cities and visiting their local city council meetings.

1 Find a place for a meeting. Libraries or coffee shops are good.

2 Let your local news in on what you are trying to do. Patriots or Minutemen are good key words that will let others know what your group is about.

3 Hold a meeting. Get a small group of people elected to help keep things organized and your group functioning.

4 Visit your local city council or other public meetings and let them know how you feel.

Rallies are a good way to let people in your area know what your group is about. To keep your group going it can be helpful to have a flyer ready to let people know of your next meeting or rally.
