Republican Losers Rant on About Winning the Iraq War Email Print

The Iraq War was lost the moment the "shock and awe" air attack began as the bombs started falling.

The Republican and Democratic congressional members who voted for this needless war are like criminals talking after they are caught.

Invariably criminals complain, "I'm not guilty," no matter how much forensic evidence and no matter how many eyewitnesses can prove their guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Now as bungler Bush demands that the Iraq War must have no deadline, the eyes for the world are watching in shock and awe.  Bush can count on the Republican robots to allow his deceitful judgment to rule out any deadlines as the real reason for invading Iraq surfaces.

The intention is to maintain a long and indefinite presence in Iraq to gain control of 63 or the 80 Iraq oil wells for foreign investors.  No doubt U.S. oil companies are at the front of the line for these valuable long-term oil-leasing arrangements.

In the Iraq War daily television displayed Iraq's entire infrastructure being demolished.  Some estimates claim a million Iraqis were killed and 2 million Iraqis have fled for their lives.  U.S. service personnel, fighting what morphed into sectarian slaughter, have been placed in what has become a religious war.

Suicide bombers, cars with bombs planted in them, marches in some Iraqi cities demanding U.S. forces to get out make no impact on arrogant Bush or his Republican cohorts.

Tragically the reality of death, destruction and debt has not sunk in yet.  The Bush Administration hierarchy and the Republican robot faithful fantasize about winning.  They cannot admit that they are losers big time.

The ancient Code of Hammurabi preceded the Ten Commandments.  The similar conduct rules in the Ten Commandments followed.  Almost all the civilized nations accepted the Ten Commandments conduct rules for centuries.

It is one thing to erect cathedrals, fabulous architectural masterpieces, as places in which to worship.

It is one thing to repeatedly claim to be a Christian nation and often show on television American's national leadership attending church and then shamelessly watch these same leaders break every rule of conduct in those Ten Commandments with arrogant impunity.

"Thou shalt not lie."  That was the Commandment broken when Bush ranted on about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, about Iraq processing yellow cake uranium to develop nuclear power.

To support this "big lie" Colin Powell read from forged documents to inject more fear at the U.N. to gain approval for the Iraq War.

"Thou shalt not kill."  That was the Commandment broken big time when the "shock and awe" Iraq killing spree began and continues with more than a million deaths while that grim toll continues to increase.

"Thou shalt not covet."  Could Iraq's oil supply, estimated at two-thirds of the world's oil supply, cause oil giants the world over to covet Iraq's oil?

Instead of recognizing international law regarding the conduct of war as outlined in the Geneva Convention and admitting the criminal conduct of initiating this needless war based on lies, Bush and his buddies want to continue the Iraq War debacle.

Isn't it high time for more courageous men and women to stand alongside Dennis Kucinich in his impeachment effort against a lawless regime that flaunted and continues flaunting the U.S. Constitution and international law with impunity?
