What NOT to do if the Secret Service Comes Calling...

Take my word for it on that one. It makes one seem suspicious. I know what I am talking about here from personal experience just this past week. Someone I know apparently got himself into a bit of trouble with the law, and -- one thing leading to another -- his Majesties' Secret Service came to pay yours truly a little visit.
"We know more than you think we know!" one of the agents bellowed out at one point, which of course, when it comes to issues of privacy is exactly kind of the point. That's kind of troubling, don't you think? I sure do. And I couldn't help but wonder if what they knew was that I had written pieces such as the following:
Pressure is Aggression to the Monkey in the Man
Silencing Those Who Speak of Those Who Are Not Silent
Fear Survey
Voodoo Security
Merry Christmas, you did a helluva job Rummy...
Anyway, all being said and done, all worked out fine in the end -- or at least I think it did -- and those two gentlemen, near as I can figure, were just doing their job, and I actually kind of liked them. All the same, it kind of makes you think, don't you think?
Oh, and, by the way, I DID offer to show them my computer and they politely declined. As I said, all worked out fine, but not everyone out there has the advantage of being white, male and grandson to a once upon a time supply side economic advisor to FDR...
