What if the U.S.A. was Victim of a War Without a Cause?

What if during this tragic war an estimated 600,000 to one million U.S. citizens were killed and the nation's infrastructure was demolished?
To add insult to injury the enemy then demanded that U.S. leaders agree to sign a contract giving them 63 of the nation's vital 80 oil well assets?
Tragically, that is exactly the scenario of what the U.S. has done! We invaded Iraq with no attack or threat to the U.S.A. Our leadership will not face the truth of the reality of the unjustified horrors the Iraq War quagmire unleashed.
Saddam Hussein was overthrown and a hasty court trial followed. It was not disclosed during this trial that the U.S.A. and many other nations were complicit in furnishing Saddam with weapons to attack Iran in the Iraq-Iran War and the slaughter of Iraqis who dared defy his dictatorial rule.
Now, instead of freedom and democracy, some estimates claim that from 600,000 to one million Iraqis have been killed. Over 3,600 U.S. service personnel came home in coffins. Over 55,000 combatants and non-combatants are wounded.
The cost of the care of the wounded alone is estimated to be in the billions. The cost of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars will cost over $400 billion.
Two million Iraqi citizens have fled for their lives to Syria, Jordan and Iran. This refugee flight has created an enormous problem to house, feed and provide medical care for those escaping the Iraq War. Two million Iraq citizens have been displaced. Water and electricity in Iraq's cities are available only during specified hours.
With the worst Congress in U.S. history, the question to ask is, "Why isn't George Bush being held accountable for the Iraq War that he and his Republican robot Congress launched?"
Apparently the U.S. Congress's twisted moral values once considered Bill Clinton's sexual conduct in the oval office an impeachable offense. But today's White House resident George Bush launched the unfinished Iraq War.
Despite all its death, destruction and debt, this act is not an impeachable offense to this warped Congress.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's infamous declaration "Impeachment is off the table" is horrifying. Those tragic words will live in infamy.
Neither Republicans nor Democrats will hold those responsible for the Iraq War debacle accountable.
On a positive note, the low ratings for Bush at 27 percent according to the latest NBC-Wall Street Journal Poll and that of Congress in the same sampling of 16 percent proves that the majority of true patriotic citizens are opposed to what Bush and his faithful to the death followers are doing in Iraq.
It is the duty of a democratic nation to respect the will of the people who have emphatically told them to get out of Iraq.
Ultimately, this question must be asked:
Is every voter who voted for Bush's second term, with the history of the Iraq War being based on a media fear blitz campaign laced with lies, technically guilty of complicity in that conflict's resulting quagmire?
