Chamber of Horrors Republican Rule!

Jonathan Maskit of Granville, Ohio in a letter to the editors of the New York Times on February 20 wrote:
"Richard M. Nixon prolonged a pointless conflict in Vietnam, spied on his political adversaries, presided over a scandal-ridden administration and resigned in disgrace. Ronald Reagan pushed the government deep into debt on the basis of a dream-world economic theory, slashed social services and deeply eroded Americans' confidence in the very idea of government."
Maskit went on to point out the colossal failures of George W. Bush, the U.S. president with the lowest public poll rating in history, which now stands at an abysmal 19%.
As Maskit related:
"George W. Bush invaded Iraq, which posed no threat to the U.S. Civil liberties were eroded, illegal spying and torture became official government policy, and Bush ignored any law that he didn't like."
If William Kristol really believes that the Republican Party is that which embraces real-world responsibility, he needs something or someone to set him straight. His warped opinions do not merit serious consideration.
Another letter to the editor published in the New York Times on February 20 states the truth clearly:
"Democrats do not `snigger' at Republicans for their `inept and ungraceful' ways. We are horrified at that mismanagement and lies that characterize all recent Republican administrations and many Republican members of Congress."
Raphael Pope-Sussman of New York City had a letter published on the same date to The Times:
"William Kristol hits the nail on the head: Democrats do look down on the Republican Party. We look down on it for so thoroughly embracing an intolerance that flies in the face of all we believe America represents. We look down on it for its race baiting and gay baiting, for its hostility toward human rights and civil liberties. How in good conscience could we not?"
Hillary Clinton boasts of having experience, which she claims qualifies her for the presidency. The experience she boasts of doesn't mention her mistake in voting for the Iraq War.
When Hillary learned that the Iraq War was a hoax based on lies, she did not apologize for her tremendous mistake in going along with the administration's monumental lie. But to demonstrate that Hillary Clinton apparently learned nothing from the needless and horrifying death, destruction and colossal debt of the Iraq War she voted for the Liberman Resolution to provide Bush with authority to attack Iran.
The fact is that Barack Obama opposed the Iraq War. He voted against the Lieberman-Clinton Resolution that could have led to a war against Iran.
The choice for the Democrats is clear. The U.S. doesn't need a war-mongering mentality.
