Criminals in the White House?

Rob Lewis of Langley, Washigton in a Seattle Times Letter to the Editor appearing in the Aparil 25 edition wrote:
"The New York Times' revelation of a massive, orchestrated Pentagon propaganda campaign that used retired officers to parrot George Bush's ... support of the war."
The statement continues by noting, "Many media analysts under sway of Pentagon."
"Not only did these bogus 'independent experts' spout Adminisration lies even they didn't believe, but many of them had a direct financial interest in shilling for the war." Rob Lewis concluded his sharp observation this way, "You in the media find it uncomfortable to admit how easily you were gulled by the criminals in the White House."
James Sanderson of Seattle in a Letter to the Seattle Times Editors appearing Aprill 25 asked, "Who on the national stage can American citizens trust anymore? ... America's watchdogs (the media) have turned into lap dogs for powerful propaganda machines, and can no longer be trusted to provide balanced journalism ... We need to take our country back! The intentional lies and manipulation of the media, the public and the world ... are criminal and unconscionable! ... I am calling for the immediate impeachment of George Bush and Dick Cheney."
Just as the (so-called) Christian Crusaders have never been forgotten, the Iraq War debacle will never be forgotten. There have been over 1.2 million Iraqis killed since the conflict began. There have been over 4,000 deaths among U.S. service personnel. The number of wounded of U.S. service personnel stands at 55,000.
There has also been the recent disclosure in a front page story in the Seattle Times April 24 that 12,000 suicide attempts occurred among Iraq War veterans.
An earlier estimate revealed that 2.5 million Iraqis have fled their own country to become refugees in Syria, Iran and Jordan. That number has been increased to an anticipated 5 million refugees.
The refugees have fled to Syria, Iran and Jordan, overloading the infrastructures of those nations as they seek new homes after fleeing their nation in peril.
When considering the foregoing one is reminded of the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's comment when looting commenced in Baghdad that "Stuff happens!"
Yes, stuff happens when international law is ignored and invasions are launched to benefit international oil concerns along with along with seeking to fulfill the lofty ambitions of the corporate elite under the New World Order and the Project for the New American Century.
While Nero may have fiddled while Rome burned, George Bush did a sword dance with the Saudis , where the killers of 9/11 were said to have come from in the account of events that the Bush administration accepts.
Meanwhile the Iraq War continues longer than World War Two.
