For as long as I have been paying attention to politics, which is a very long time, the Republicans have used fear, wedge-issues, racism and dirty tricks to win elections. As someone said, if the Republicans has to run on the issues they would never win an election.

Yes, there is still racism in this country. But when  the president of the Sons of The Confederacy, in S.E. Georgia has an Obama sticker on his truck, I think something is happening in this country; something big and good.

I was born and raised in the deep south and I plan to vote for Obama and I don't care what they say about him. They are liars....dirty, stinking liars who trashed a man like John Kerry, who probably didn't fight back immediately because he didn't believe that Americans were stupid enough to fall for such clap-trap.

I hope to God my countrymen/women have learned something in the last four years. If not, we will all get what they deserve.

There is always going to be some doubt whether it was the right choice to vote Barack Obama as president due to the racial tension in America. However, I believe if Obama is a good president, it could bring racism to the lowest that it's ever been.
