Political Cortex: Brain Food for the Body Politic

I will cut taxes - cut taxes - for 95 percent of all working families, because, in an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raise taxes on the middle class.

I'm trying to figure out when this tax break is coming.  Obama made some big promises in order to get elected and I think he meant them at the time, but the bottom line is it's not realistic to make these big promises because they rarely workout.

Where I live my state taxes (not Federal) have gone up significantly and the states actually pass money along to the Federal government - so in a way my taxes are being raised on behalf of the federal government.

I should also point out that I am definitely in the lower 95% of income earners.

I think that my taxes are raising is insane.  Maybe Pres. Obama has been doing the insanity workout like me.
